Out-of-Phase Static Neutralizing Power Supply
The TSN75E-OP Power Supply is an “out-of-phase” power-supply model functionally equivalent to the TSN75E model, but internally wired for operation 180 degrees out of phase with the standard-version power supply (i.e. TSN75E). One TSN75E-OP is designed to be operated with one TSN75E. Each power supply providing excitation for one of two paired sets of static bars (i.e. ionizing electrodes) in specialized applications such as trim-removal and material-waste-handling equipment for the web industry.
The pairing of the in-phase (i.e. TSN75E) and out-of-phase (i.e. TSN75E-OP) power supplies in such applications provides a more uniform distribution of ionization in each (i.e. positive and negative) polarity along the axis of the ionizing electrodes and target-material movement. Therefore, significantly enhancing performance especially if the target-material velocity is high. With the exception of the out-of-phase characteristic, operation and performance of the TSN75EOP is otherwise identical to that of the TSN75E. Input/mains power is connected via IEC-320 (C14) inlet jack in both models.
