850 / 850E ANTI-STATIC CORD

Product Overview

The 850 / 850E Anti-Static Cord provides a simple, cost-effective solution for reducing static electricity in applications where investment in powered static elimination equipment is not practical or necessary. Designed for high static charges and fast-moving materials, the Anti-Static Cord is widely used in web and sheet handling operations, paper processing, packaging, converting, and other industrial manufacturing environments.

Unlike traditional copper anti-static tinsel, the 850 / 850E Anti-Static Cord is manufactured with thousands of conductive microfibers that concentrate the electric field and safely dissipate static charges to earth. When properly installed, the cord can typically reduce static charges by up to 90%.

Available in both standard and elasticated versions, the Anti-Static Cord offers a durable, long-lasting solution for controlling static in demanding production environments.

Available Models

850 – Standard Anti-Static Cord

A durable static control solution designed for permanent installation in web and sheet handling applications.

850E – Elasticated Anti-Static Cord

Features an elastic construction that allows for greater installation flexibility while maintaining effective static dissipation performance.

Installation

For maximum performance, the Anti-Static Cord should be positioned approximately 2–3 mm above the material being treated or, where application conditions permit, lightly touching the material surface.

The 850 / 850E Anti-Static Cord must be connected to a reliable earth ground to effectively dissipate static charges.
