The BR6200 Brush Bar is a self-ionizing static discharger designed to neutralize static charges on machines processing sheets and webs. It comes in two variations, 18mm Carbon Fiber (BR62-C) and 18mm Nylon Fiber (BR62-N), allowing flexibility for different applications. This brush bar is available in a range of lengths, from 100 mm to 2700 mm, offering versatility to fit a variety of machine sizes.

Its aluminum body is robust, with a 2 mm wall thickness, providing durability for industrial environments. The “brushes” on the bar contain a large number of highly conductive fibers. The fine tips of these fibers concentrate the electric field, ionizing the air. This ionized air carries ions of opposite polarity, effectively neutralizing static charges and allowing them to discharge through the brush body to earth.

Performance

The BR6200 offers high performance in static discharging, particularly suited for high-speed processes and high static charges. The brush bar can be positioned 2 to 3 mm from the material being neutralized, enabling efficient operation without direct contact. This feature minimizes wear and tear while maintaining high efficiency.

Additionally, the BR6200 has a safety feature where the static discharger body must be connected to earth/ground, ensuring safe dissipation of static charges. The two versions of the BR6200—Model 101 and Model 201—offer different lengths and fiber options to suit varied needs. Model 101 is available in lengths up to 4 meters, while Model 201 is available in lengths up to 3 meters.
