At its core is the ZappII Piezonizer, which uses a high-frequency piezoelectric transformer to generate balanced ions in an ultra-compact housing. The ZappII is mounted at the end of an adjustable gooseneck with a table-clamp for easy positioning and setup on your work surface. The sensor detects the presence of a part, activating the system and directing air/nitrogen flow to remove contaminants. The gooseneck design allows you to shape and aim the nozzle for ergonomically friendly hands-free operation. The distance from the sensor to the target is adjustable, enabling precise control over when the system activates.
The ZappPLUS multi-function controller offers a system On/Off switch, a needle valve to adjust air pressure and flow, and a ‘tri-mode’ switch to control the air/nitrogen stream. You can choose between a constant stream or high (10Hz) and low (5Hz) frequency pulse modes, which are ideal for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. An alarm LED indicates system failure or excessive contamination. The off-delay timer, adjustable from 0 to 10 seconds, keeps the ionized airflow on even if the target briefly moves out of the sensor’s line of sight.
