Meters and Instruments - Static Eliminators

- Products

In order to effectively eliminate the static charges that cause problems, measuring or finding the “hot spots” in your manufacturing process is a fundermental step in determining the type of ionizer required for the application. The static field meter Statiron DZ4 is a lightweight portable meter with digital printout, designed for measuring the static potential on a charged object.

The Statiron DP Charge Plate Monitor (CPM) is a handheld static electricity measuring instrument designed to check the static decay times and system balance monitoring for all ionizing equipment in your facility.

Static electricity is a problem in many industrial areas.  It slows production, reduces product quality, attracts contaminants and shocks operators.  It is a well-known issue throughout the plastics, packaging, paper, medical, electronics, textile and pharmaceutical industries.  In the industries that use solvents, explosives or other materials with a low ignition level, static can create the additional hazard of fire and explosion risks.

The F-EX715 enables engineers to investigate these risks with safety and integrity.  This static meter has been developed specifically for industrial static electricity problems and has been certified for use in hazardous areas.

The Static H-0110 Honestmeter is an instrument designed to measure the attenuation of static electricity, and is an ideal device for measuring the diffusibility of static in materials. This unit is used to charge the sample by irritating it with air ions generated by corona discharge, and after charge deposition, it can measure the static decay curve. Since air ions are generated by the corona discharge method with AC, the sample under test can be charged with either positive or negative ions.

Since air ions are generated by the corona discharge method are used to irritate the sample to charge it, selecting the polarity and the applied voltage for the corona discharge enables the sample to be charged with both negative and positive ions.
