The Model IG3 Ionizing gun incorporates the efficiency and power of an air amplifier with the proven technology of corona ionization to produce a highly effective static eliminating blow-off gun. In addition, it offers a lightweight well-balanced gun powered by an internal, rechargeable, lithium ion battery and a replaceable emitter pin to keep the gun performing like new. The IG3 gun would be the ideal choice to help de-mask plastic backing of sheets, paint cleaning operation, or any Industrial application that requires static neutralization and de-dusting of the part/component.

Contact and separation between two surfaces creates static electricity, which can often cause materials like paper, plastic, textiles and other non-conductive materials to randomly attract to or repel from themselves or their surroundings. In a manufacturing environment this causes process problems which include jams, clogs, mis-feeds, poor stacking, reduced transport speeds, shocks to operators, fires, explosions, and a variety of contamination related problems.
